Our Story
Liso Soldati and Siyasanga Magabuko’s love story began in 2018, thanks to the unexpected connection of social media. Liso first noticed Siyasanga on Facebook and spent much of that year quietly admiring her, consistently liking her pictures. It wasn’t until the 27th of December 2018 that he finally gathered the courage to send her a message. From the very first exchange, the two clicked effortlessly as friends, quickly moving into late-night phone calls and deep conversations that formed the foundation of their relationship.
Although they both came from the same hometown, life had led them to cross paths in Durban - Siyasanga was studying there, and Liso was already working in the city. In late January 2019, while Siyasanga was still back home in Kokstad, Liso realized he had forgotten his suits and ties and asked his sister to drop them off at Siyasanga’s home. He asked if she could bring them along when she returned to Durban for school, providing the perfect reason for them to finally meet in person. That meeting, on the 7th of February 2019, sealed their connection—and the rest, as they say, is history.
